For measurement the eligibility criteria to become a state government teacher Board of School Education, Haryana conducts Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test.
First in Haryana the state government conducted this test and after that the Government of India started CTET. In past years some other states of India had started to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test.
